This was an early commission from a new father. The tanto is the smallest of the three swords traditionally worn by the Japanese samurai warriors, and my customer commissioned this piece as a symbol of his commitment to shelter and protect his newborn child.

Lead time (i.e. when the knife might be complete) depends on what I have on my books at the moment, but in most cases 6 months is a safe guess.
